16th Lullaby ♫ - Action for Violet || Video
[ Lacus seems to be in a very good mood today. She was waving to the camera while she was lying on a patch of green grass, because it was such a beautiful day.
A pen and sheaf of scribbled on musical notes spread beside her and what appeared to be an ipod on top of it all. Mister Pink and Liana were sleeping beside her.
The pen and the papers scattered all around? It looks like she was writing again.
She holds up a piece of paper full of her incoherent scribbles and laughs. She knows her handwriting is barely eligible. ]
Look, Athrun! I'm writing again!
[ She puts it back with the other papers and turns back to the gear. ]
I was just remembering the first things my music teacher taught me when I was first learning music. It was that music is always different for different people.
There will always be people who like what you like and people who don't like what you like. Popularity is fickle, isn't it? But I think anyone is capable of making music.
She taught me this when my first live didn't attract as much attention as previously hoped.
So I wanted to ask ...
... what is music to you? Or maybe ... what kind of music do you listen to? Do you think your music defines you? Now that I have time, I am excited to explore other genres.
Though, I must give warning that my rapping skills are in need of much work.

I'm a fan of jazz myself. [He clicks his fingers in a rhythm, making a few noises with his vocals.] Fun a~nd flexible.
[Video]
My father enjoyed jazz as well. He used to tell me that he and my mother used to dance to it.
[Video]
Think jazz is a daddy-style?
[Video]
I never thought of it before ... but quite possibly. He always said it reminded him of where he came from.
I didn't quite understand what he meant then, but he could mean the era he belonged to.
Actually, you appear to be the same age as my father actually.

That question sounds a little difficult, Lacus.
video;
Well, then ... why don't we start at another question? Does Maria like music?
no subject
Maria likes music, she re-ally does! Music makes people happy, right?
no subject
... it had made me very happy.

...I'm sorry. I just tried to picture you rapping, and...well...

Especially the language. Sometimes I wonder if I am still speaking coherently. Rapping feels like another language entirely.

I remember hearing it when we visited Japan.
[video]
When'd you visit?
[video]
It is very beautiful ... especially the countryside.

Video // wow, those questions really made me think hard about how to reply... which is great <3
Popularity is fickle? Well... Yeah. Utau worked hard to get to the top, to stay on the top and ...If she ever resigned from Easter, her future would be something like a nightmare full of trying to survive in the business again.
She'll leave her reactions to those questions offscreen. It's none of the girl's business. But yes, maybe she could talk about music with her... 'What is music to you' No, she won't answer that one. That's something she's been thinking for a long time.]
I'm a rock singer.
[So assume that she also listens to rock. But does it define her? She'd love to say absolutely not, but considering how she forgot songs from her childhood somewhere along the road...]
And it defines me. Not that I mind, but I think my fans would mind if I suddenly changed my style into something completely different.
Video // I AM SO LATE. I am so sorry! Thesis ... ;A;
[ Well, this is new to her. She had heard a few rock songs back in her world, but she had to admit that it wasn't a genre she had much experience with. ]
I don't know ... maybe some of them might appreciate the variety of flavors in one's music.
I always believed in looking outside the box.
Video // Darling, it was me who was so very late at first and I know you're busy <3
[...Or not, but her actress skills at saying it are perfect, and her two songs from home are definitely rock. The third song is ... a rock ballad, maybe and the rest? She forgot them long ago.]
Yet some of them wouldn't appreciate it at all and in the end they'd go away, but they all came to me because of my current music.
Well, I'm sure they wouldn't mind me going outside the box if it was just a temporary thing; like a challenge to see how well a singer sings other genres.
[... or she'd make them follow her into a pop career too, but... nope, not even thinking about other careers in her current life situation at home.]
