Lacus does love Athrun like a brother and worries about him constantly. She knows him as well and he knows her. That is why she would always confide in him for anything. He is the only other person she trusts enough to cry in front of.

If there is one thing she wishes for Athrun, it would be that despite all the pain they witnessed, he would find his happiness.

Shinn is like the rascal-like, little brother. She worries about him even more than Athrun sometimes since he always seemed to hurt himself or get hurt by circumstances. Very unusual circumstances. To her, Shinn was a good boy and she hoped that he would someday grow.

Shinn was young and still had a lot of growing up to do. She hoped he would enjoy his journey of living and grow up to be a fine and strong person.

To Lacus, Maria is just adorable. When they talk, Lacus just wants to reach out for her and give her a hug. Her adorableness never fails to make Lacus laugh or smile. Lion did a good job in raising her.

Lacus likes Bartz's kindness and she was really sad to see him with his heart so broken when Rise left. She considers him a good friend and she is happy that he seems to enjoy her music. She hopes that someday his heart will mend or find Rise again ...

YAYOI TAKATSUKI

No words are enough to explain how much Lacus adores Yayoi. She is a breath of fresh air and she was definitely an idol with the way she knew how to make people smile. Her energy is contagious and Lacus just likes that about her.

She is so happy for her and Hayate, though she doesn't tease her about it as much as Hayate. She didn't want to embarrass her too much.

CONNER

Lacus finds Connor very nice. She doesn't really know how he feels most of the time, but there was one thing she could read was that he is a very good person. It didn't look like he was used to expressing himself, but he was obviously learning. Each time she talked to him, he was showing more and more emotions. Especially when he mentioned Megan, and Lacus found that sweet.

Varon confessed to her, but they decided to remain friends because --- Lacus just can't forget her love for Kira. And Lacus knew that forgetting Kira will never be possible. She does care for him though and does believe that she can trust him.

At the moment, she doesn't believe she can make him happy and hopes that somewhere he will find someone who can. The last thing she wanted was to hurt him and she was much too afraid that was what will happen.

Hayate is probably Lacus's most unusual and amusing friend. He never failed to surprise her. He cross-dresses, sings like an idol and says the most unusual things. She enjoys talking to him because she never knows what to expect. She often worries about his clumsiness which certainly rivals Shinn's. She hopes it improves soon, but she also thinks it is a part of Hayate.

She thinks he is kind and she is very fond of him like another younger brother.
